The piano bar is very different from its origins. But the fact remains that piano bar is still an important part of cultural life.

Many of my colleagues, some of whom I admire the skill they have chosen to play a modern piano bar (with keyboard and e-drums). Since some years, the piano bar-player is no longer just playing the piano and singing . Guests at the piano bar are now accustomed to hearing together with the acoustic sounds of piano and voice even those keyboards and electronic rhythms.

Who is going to sit in bars and by chance I have to occupy the stool of the piano, you will notice that rarely happens today, no mail, only my voice, piano and my guitar.

That's why I decided to call my way of making music in the bar: piano unplugged. My way of making music is often dissociated from what you use to listen. The reason why is that pop music interests me not so much as before and then I am working more and more to do soul music, more jazz and rock & roll). I try as well not to be confused with an human human juke-box.

The advantage is that people like what I musically am and not the songs I play. The disadvantage is that since I play just unplugged, I have not the chance to play in several bars. Anyway for me it is important to go on playing that way.
